IEHP Atlantic Connection Roundtable Discussions

Roundtable discussions, … making the CONNECTIONS  will be hosted by the IEHP Atlantic Connection Steering Committee on March 28th, 2012 at the Delta Beausejour Hotel, 750 Main Street, Moncton, New Brunswick.   

The IEHP (Internationally Educated Health Professionals) Atlantic Connection is a collaboration of the Atlantic Canadian Departments of Health, Health Human Resources pisions, led by a working committee of the Atlantic Advisory Committee on Health Human Resources (AACHHR). The mandate of the Atlantic Connection Steering Committee is to identify, recommend and support sustainable initiatives that attract, integrate and retain IEHPs to the health care systems in Atlantic Canada by building on regional IEHP initiatives.

The roundtable discussion is an opportunity for IEHPs, regulators, researchers, policy makers, community representatives and settlement organizations to get together to share and exchange knowledge about the processes and activities of integrating internationally educated health professionals to the Atlantic region.  

There is no registration fee. Participant numbers are limited; therefore, it is strongly recommended that you pre-register by March 16th to ensure that you have a seat and obtain a room at the hotel at the meeting rate. 

Limited financial sponsorship is available for participants wishing to attend the roundtable discussion.  Refer to the expense guideline provided with the registration information.  Hotel Booking information is also included on the registration site.  Please contact the hotel as soon as possible to reserve your room.
