Non-Regulated Health Professions

Many health professions in Canada have an assistive level where workers support licensed professionals in the workplace. Usually, the assistant is assigned work and supervised by the licensed professional. Some IEHPs may find employment at the assistive level while they seek licensure/certification, or they may find that their qualifications more closely match those of the assistive level.
